"CIMC was such a wonderful experience for me. This prestigious international competition provided me with the platform to allow my music to be acknowledged and evaluated to the highest professional standards, in an inclusive manner. The ease of participating was also commendable, as the processes in place throughout the entire journey from registration to the announcement of winners and issuing of certificates and prizes were very well designed. The committee and the team working behind the scenes to drive the success of CIMC were always so supportive of me throughout the process, answering any queries I might have had and allaying any of my doubts. For example, when my mainstream media in Singapore caught wind of my win in the competition, and requested a certificate, the CIMC committee were quick to provide me with the certificate and even gave encouragement to me as a budding musician and artist for my growth in the music scenne, while offering their media platforms to promote my local mainstream media's coverage of my win in CIMC.
I believe that beyond being a space for global musicians and artists to improve themselves through rigorous evaluation, it is also a strong candidate to be a bridge between musicians and artists from different countries, traditions, communities and so on, to gather together to celebrate both unity and plurality, and to propel music and those who are music makers, composers and producers, to be powerful forces of good that can enact positive change in the world. CIMC is not just about awarding success and excellence, but also about reinforcing positive universal human values to unite the diverse peoples of the world through music."
